The Guardians of the Galaxy are a band of space cowboys, mercenaries for hire, a motley crew in the classic sense, who are notorious for protecting the galaxy (at very reasonable rates). Founded by Adam Warlock, Drax the Destroyer, Gamora, Martyr, Rocket Racoon, and their legendary leader, Peter "Star-Lord" Quill, you never need fear when the Guardians are near... or at least that's what they want you to believe.
